1. Introduction

TastePass (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates tastepass.app. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

2. Data we collect

• Account information: email address and first name provided at signup
• Dining preferences: restaurants, dishes, drinks, customizations, and allergy information you choose to save
• Payment information: processed securely by Stripe. We never store card details — only your Stripe customer ID and subscription status
• Usage data: pages visited and features used, collected via Sentry for error monitoring

3. How we use your data

• To provide and improve the TastePass service
• To process subscription payments via Stripe
• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, receipts) — we do not send marketing emails without your consent
• To monitor errors and improve app stability

4. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Supabase — database and authentication hosting
• Stripe — payment processing
• Sentry — error monitoring
• Vercel — hosting infrastructure

All providers are bound by their own privacy policies and GDPR-compliant data processing agreements.

5. Sharing links

When you share a per-restaurant link, the recipient can view your saved items and notes for that restaurant only. Allergy and customization details are not shown on shared pages. You can deactivate any shared link at any time from your profile.

6. Data retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from account settings, which permanently deletes all your data.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time. Contact us at hello@tastepass.app to exercise these rights.

8. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Children

TastePass is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes

We will notify users of material changes by updating the effective date and, where appropriate, sending an email notification.
