Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using TastePass you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of service

TastePass is a web application that allows users to save and share their personal dining preferences including favorite dishes, drinks, and customizations at restaurants.

3. Account responsibilities

• You must provide accurate information at signup
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must be at least 13 years old to use TastePass
• One account per person

4. Free and premium plans

Free plan: up to 15 saved restaurants, per-restaurant sharing links.

Premium plan ($3.99/month): unlimited restaurants, unlimited saved dishes, and more features coming soon.

Prices may change with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

5. Payments and refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically each month. You can cancel at any time from your account settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact hello@tastepass.app within 7 days of charge.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use TastePass for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute TastePass content
• Interfere with the service's operation

7. Content ownership

You own all dining preferences and data you enter. By using TastePass you grant us a limited license to store and display your content to provide the service. We do not claim ownership of your personal data.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

TastePass is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

9. Limitation of liability

TastePass's liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding any claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States.

11. Changes

We may update these terms with 30 days' notice for material changes. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
